Mukilteo Seeking Applicants to Serve on the Rosehill Community Board

The Mukilteo City Council established the Rosehill Community Board in 2015 to serve in an advisory capacity to provide input to Council, the Mayor and City staff regarding policies and operations at the Rosehill Community Center.  The Board generally meets quarterly, typically the second Tuesday of the month at Rosehill Community Center.  No member can be appointed to more than two full, consecutive terms. There are two positions we need to fill, one immediately and the second in May.

Rosehill Community Boardmember, Anne Steinmetz, has a term ending on May 1, and we are seeking applicants to serve May 2, 2020 – May 1, 2023. The application deadline for this position is 5pm on Friday March 20, with interviews with the Mayor to be scheduled the week of March 29. Confirmation by the City Council is scheduled for April 20, 2020. Resolution No. 2015-06 states that at least 5 of the 7 members must be City residents and all current members are residents.  Therefore, the applicant for this position does not need to be a resident of the City to qualify.  All members must be residents of the Mukilteo School District.

Al applicants are recommended by the Mayor to the City Council.

Complete the online application for this position by 5pm Friday, March 20 to be considered. This is an unpaid position.
