The City of Mukilteo is seeking a student member of the Rosehill Community Board. The current student member’s term ends on August 15, 2020. Per Resolution 2015-06 which created the Board, the student member “will be a student from the Mukilteo School District”; residency in Mukilteo is not required.
The term of this student position is one year, commencing August 4, 2020 and ending on August 3, 2021. The Rosehill Community Board meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month at Rosehill Community Center starting at 4:00pm. The student will need to have transportation to the meetings. There is no compensation to serve on a City of Mukilteo Board, Commission or Committee.
There is an online application for interested students; the deadline to apply is July 10 at 4:30pm, and Council appointment is scheduled to be August 3. Be sure to select “Rosehill Community Board” from the pull down list of the City’s Boards and Commissions. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the week of July 13.
