Mukilteo Long-Range Finance Committee Vacancy

This Committee is now inactive.

Because of Sarah Kneller’s recent election to the City Council, her position on the Long-Range Finance Committee will be vacant as of January 1, 2018. The City of Mukilteo is looking for a candidate to finish Ms. Kneller’s term to May 1, 2019.

The Mayor recommends new Board or Committee members that are then confirmed by the City Council. Boards, Commissions and Committees advise the City on many matters and play a crucial role in providing public participation to the City’s decision-making process.  We are looking for a Committee member with a background in finance, accounting, public administration or financial analysis who can commit to one meeting per month, requiring about 6 hours total for the meeting and preparation. There is no compensation.

You can apply using the online application. The application deadline has been extended to Friday, January 19, 2018. Interviews will be held during the week of January 22. City Council confirmation is expected to be scheduled for Monday, February 5, 2018.
