Mukilteo Ferry Terminal Project Update

Washington State Ferries released the following update about the Mukilteo Multimodal Terminal Project:

The first floor and two elevator shafts of the passenger building have been poured. And, starting this week, the steel framework of the building is being erected on what will be a two-story structure. The waiting area inside will feature floor-to-ceiling openable windows that look out toward Whidbey Island and beyond to the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges (on clear days). The roof comes next — later this summer.

A look into the passenger building first floor from the water side. This area will house mechanical components and office space for Washington State Patrol.

Crews are also currently at work on the maintenance building and toll booths.
