“Cool Girls in Aerospace” Summer Session

We’ve had an overwhelming response to “Cool Girls” and have closed the application process.  Thank you for being interested, and we’ll try to offer this program again soon.

About “Cool Girls in Aerospace”

In January 2016, Mayor Jennifer Gregerson announced her 2016 Action Agenda items including “Cool Girls in Aerospace”,  a special summer session offered through Edmonds Community College designed to inspire middle school girls to consider future careers in the aerospace industry.  Taking math and science can be cool, especially when you get to experience first hand working in a high-tech lab and learn how to make stuff using the very same materials used to make a Boeing 787 or rocket! This session is also co-sponsored by the United Way of Snohomish County, Harbour Pointe Senior Living, IAM District 751, Economic Alliance of Snohomish County, and the City of Mukilteo.
