Mukilteo to Host Volunteer Appreciation Reception

The City of Mukilteo is planning a gala reception at Rosehill Community Center on April 28, 2016 from 6 – 8pm to honor and recognize the hundreds to volunteers who freely give their time to make Mukilteo a better community to live, work and play.  This year’s theme is “A Night of Thank Yous!”

“Volunteers do so many things that make Mukilteo the special place it is,” said Mayor Jennifer Gregerson.  “From serving on citizen advisory committees, to Police volunteers, beach watchers, community gardeners who grow over 2 tons of food for our food bank, Lighthouse Festival volunteers, this amazing list of people coming together to help the community deserves our respect and appreciation.  We want to dedicate an evening to honor their contributions.”

The City has send out over 200 invitations via email, and expects over 100 to attend.  All members of City Boards, Commissions, Committees and volunteer groups should have received an invitation. If you feel you should have received one, (1) please check your email’s spam folder, then (2) contact the Mayor’s office at 425.263.8018, let us know which group you volunteer with and we’ll check the invitation list for your name.

If you have a disability which may limit your participation in this meeting, please contact the Mayor’s office at 425.263.8018 at least three (3) business days in advance so that we can arrange a reasonable accommodation for you.
