Shakespeare in the Park – “The Comedy of Errors”

“The Comedy of Errors” will replace the previously advertised “Antony & Cleopatra.”

{dim lights, cue actors…} The Comedy of Errors is one of William Shakespeare’s early plays. It is his shortest and one of his most farcical comedies, with a major part of the humor coming from slapstick and mistaken identity, in addition to puns and word play. The Comedy of Errors is one of only two of Shakespeare’s plays to observe the Unity of Time. It has been adapted for opera, stage, screen and musical theatre numerous times worldwide.

This production is FREE to the community, and will be produced on the Rosehill Community Center Plaza.

This production is made possible by Last Leaf Productions Seattle.  Last Leaf presents programs each year for pre-school and school age children, seniors and communities at large. Last Leaf is administered by an eight-person Board that produces at least three touring productions for children each season plus Shakespeare in the Park, and programs for seniors.
