City Council Candidate Forum

The Beacon and Sno-Isle Libraries have partnered to sponsor a City Council candidate forum set for 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, July 24, at City Hall.
All 10 candidates have been invited to participate in the free, public event to be held in the Council Chambers. The city will also live-stream the forum and subsequently post a video on the city website.
Longtime Mukilteo resident, educator and coach Frank Foster has agreed to moderate the forum. The Beacon will prepare questions, though voters are encouraged to submit their own to mukilteoeditor@yourbeacon.net.
The format will be similar to the Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce’s fall candidate forums. Candidates will sit at the council dais and will be given time to make introductory and closing statements.
