Japanese Gulch Cleanup Project

If you enjoy the out of doors, spending part of a beautiful summer day is a great way to volunteer your time to help remove invasive species at the 76th Street Trailhead (Community Garden entrance) of Japanese Gulch.
The event begins with a short explanation of the day’s project with an emphasis on safety, fun, learning and a great sense of accomplishment. Anyone can volunteer and those under age 18 will need a parent to sign a waiver. Although not required, it helps if you can bend, squat, pull and maintain your balance if the terrain is uneven.
Rain or shine, please bring appropriate layers of clothing, gardening gloves and water. Please call 425.263.8180 if you want to participate.
