Heart of Mukilteo Parade

The Parade will be on Saturday, September 6th, at 11 AM

The Heart of Mukilteo Parade is a re-envisioning of the Lighthouse Parade. The Heart of Mukilteo Parade will be continuing to carry on the legacy of the Lighthouse Festival parade of years past celebrating all things Mukilteo, the people, history, and the stories we love to tell. The 2025 theme “Community - The Heart of Mukilteo” recognizes the importance of our outstanding, engaged non-profits, businesses, and volunteers with huge giving hearts that fuel our community spirit. It’s what makes Mukilteo such a special place to live!

The Heart of Mukilteo Parade will take place on Lighthouse Festival weekend at a brand-new location! The parade starts at 5th and Loveland Avenue and continues around the Rosehill Community Center. 

Transportation & Parking

Parking will be available at Olympic View Middle School with shuttles beginning at 10:30 AM.

Volunteer Opportunity

Interested in helping with the parade set-up and take down, checking in participants, setting up the announcer's stage in Rosehill Plaza, and directing the observers where they want/need to go? Roles include but are not limited to: Staging Crew, Check-in Crew, Route Crew, and Parade Monitor. Sign-Up here

Parade Entries

Required to be entertaining, creative, and exciting. Participate with a float, push float, band, colorful costumes, uniformed attire, drill, dance team or comical routines, antique or unique vehicles and MORE! 

Think outside the box! All parade entries will be selected based on how well they theme their presentations around the parade theme of: “Community: The Heart of Mukilteo” 

There will be four award categories that will be announced live on the Mainstage on Lincoln Ave and 3rd Street! The Categories are Best in show, Spirit of Mukilteo, We Care about Mukilteo and Support Local Mukilteo, more details can be found at Parade Award Categories. Parade Fees

The Heart of Mukilteo Parade will be collecting fees from our business and political entries into the parade. All non-profit or Community Organizations will be able to enter free of charge. The Commercial Business entry fee will be $50, and the Political Entry fee will be $100.
