The City of Mukilteo is proud to announce the Heart of Mukilteo Parade, a newly envisioned community celebration debuting on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM, during Lighthouse Festival weekend.
Earlier this year, the organizers of the long-running Lighthouse Festival Parade announced that the event would no longer continue. In response, the City is stepping in to preserve and reimagine this tradition, introducing a new parade that celebrates the heart of Mukilteo — its people, its history, and the stories that make our community shine.
“The Heart of Mukilteo Parade” honors the legacy of the original event while offering a fresh approach and new location. The 2025 theme, “Community: The Heart of Mukilteo,” highlights the generosity, spirit, and collaboration of local nonprofits, businesses, and volunteers.
The parade will take place at a new location, starting at 5th Street and Loveland Avenue and circling around the Rosehill Community Center. Spectators can expect a fun, inclusive, and heartfelt experience.
