The Public Works Department maintains approximately 620 acres of parklands, landscaped areas, and building grounds. Some of this maintenance includes mowing, fertilizing, pruning, weeding, painting, spraying herbicides and insecticides, cleaning park structures, and maintaining play structures, picnic shelters, barbecue pits, and fire pits.
- Park hours are 6 am to 10 pm unless otherwise posted.
- Lighthouse Park hours are 6 am to 10 pm October 1st through April 30th and 4 am to 10 pm May 1st through September 30th.
