The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for today, January 31 from 10:00am to 7:00am PST Saturday, February 1. Impacts are expected to be blown down trees and power lines. They are predicting widespread power outages from the strongest winds late this afternoon through the evening. Impacted areas are Everett and vicinity, northern counties/coast and the central coast.
Residents should stay inside and avoid forested areas and around trees and branches. Use caution if driving.
