On Thursday, July 27, 2017, the Regional Multi-Agency SWAT Team will conduct a critical incident response drill / training exercise at Kamiak High School, located at 10801 Harbour Pointe Blvd. During the drill, which will take place in the afternoon and evening hours, there will be a number of police vehicles along the perimeter of the school as well as perimeter security. Mukilteo Police personnel will be involved in this simulated training exercise and no live ammunition will be used.
“This multi-agency exercise is designed to enhance the effectiveness of the SWAT response to critical incidents in our jurisdiction and the surrounding area. Training sessions like these are necessary to identify training and equipment needs, sharpen skills, and maintain the best tactical practices for successful outcomes,” said Mukilteo Police Chief Cheol Kang.
