The third of five scheduled stormwater fee increases will take effect January 1, 2018. The new rate will be $19.19 per ERU. History of Stormwater Rates
In 2015, the Mukilteo City Council voted to increase the City’s stormwater rates to pay for maintaining an aging infrastructure and federal permit requirements. The City had not increased stormwater rates since 2005. Without this increase, the City does not have the capacity to meet the increasing surface water needs and regulatory requirements.
