PROJECT NAME: 88th Street SW Road Preservation Project

DUE DATE:  April 12, 2018

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The City of Mukilteo is requesting qualifications (RFQ) from qualified professionals or firms to provide professional services for the design and engineering of the 88th Street SW Road Pavement Preservation project, with the option of construction management and inspection services. The proposed improvements include resurfacing 88th Street SW with HMA, approximately 3000 LF, as well as retrofitting existing curb ramps to comply with the ADA Standards.  The design and construction phases of this project will be funded by a combination of local and federal funds.  All aspects of this project will need to comply with the requirements of the funding agencies, including FHWA.

The major features of the project are as follows:

  • Engineering & Design
  • Environmental Permitting and Documentation (NEPA)
  • Public Outreach
  • Construction Management & Inspection (optional)

SUBMITTAL: Email Randall Roberts, Capital Projects Engineer, at rroberts@mukilteowa.gov no later than 4:00 pm on April 12, 2018 to submit your interest in the project.  Emails shall include:  firm name as listed on the MRSC web site and a list of any firms which you may be teaming with, contact information, a link to your website, a list with a short description of at least three projects which closely relate to a street preservation project, and a two page cover letter.

Emails received after 4:00 pm on April 12, 2018 and all hard/paper copy submittals will be disregarded.

The City of Mukilteo reserves the right to reject any and all responses to this RFQ and to waive any informality in the interests of the City.
