Mukilteo to participate in National Night Out Against Crime

On Tuesday August 2nd 2022 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, Mukilteo Police Officers, Firefighters, and City Officials will celebrate National Night Out Against Crime at several neighborhood block parties.

This annual event brings the whole city together and creates strong relationships within the community. The event also promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. (NNO-National Night Out).

The Mukilteo Police Department strives to provide professional police service for and with the community. “We’re excited to celebrate with our community, this is an event we look forward to every year. Our goal is to create a sense of unity among neighbors and strengthen our already great relationship with the community”, said Mukilteo Police Chief Cheol Kang.

Mukilteo Police Officers, Firefighters, and City Officials are set to visit several block parties between the hours of 5:30pm to 8:30pm. As there will be multiple block parties happening around Mukilteo, our teams will do their best to visit as many block parties as possible and spend quality time with each neighborhood. First responder visits are subject to immediate change due to 911 call volume.

If your neighborhood is planning to host a National Night Out Against Crime block party and would like to be visited by First Responders and City Officials, please email Crime Prevention Officer Nathan Fabia at nfabia@mukilteowa.gov for registration.
