If you have ever been stuck in afternoon traffic on Harbour Pointe Blvd. South, this project will be of interest to you.
The City of Mukilteo held an open house for the Harbour Reach Corridor Project at City Hall on Wednesday, October 11. The City is currently working on the new design for this project, which will construct a new urban arterial connecting Beverly Park Road to Harbour Pointe. Blvd. SW and make improvements to Harbour Reach Drive between Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW and HPB North to improve traffic flow and bicycle safety.
The design incorporated feedback from the Community Workshop held in October 2016; the final design phase process will begin this month, and the City is considering other public amenities such as decorative lighting, public art, seating areas and wildlife lookouts along the corridor. The Open House was your opportunity to share your ideas and priorities as we move forward to complete the final design by next spring.
