Mukilteo Seeking Parks & Arts Commission Applications

The City of Mukilteo is seeking candidates to apply to serve on the Parks & Arts Commission for a three-year term. Commissioner Scott Specht’s term ends December 31, 2018; current Commissioners may reapply to serve. The term of the new appointment would be January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2021.

The Parks & Arts Commission consists of seven members who are appointed by the Mayor and subject to confirmation by the City Council. Duties of this Commission include advising and making recommendation to the Council for the management, control, improvement, beautification and planning of all city parks and of all play and recreational grounds and facilities. Monthly meetings are held at 7:00pm the first Thursday of the month at City Hall.
