Mukilteo Seeking Applicants for the Rosehill Community Board

The Mukilteo City Council established the Rosehill Community Board in 2015 to serve in an advisory capacity to provide input to Council, the Mayor and City staff regarding policies and operations at the Rosehill Community Center.  The Board generally meets quarterly, typically the second Tuesday of the month at Rosehill Community Center.  No member can be appointed to more than two full, consecutive terms.

Boardmember Peter Almgren’s first full term ends on May 3, 2019, and the applicant recommended by the Mayor to the City Council will serve a term beginning on May 4, 2019 to May 3, 2022. Confirmation by the City Council is scheduled for April 15, 2019.

The application period will run from March 1 to March 25; interviews with the Mayor will be the first week of April.  Resolution No. 2015-06 states that at least 5 of the 7 members must be City residents and there are currently 2 serving on the Board who are not residents. Therefore, the applicant for this position must be a resident of the City to qualify.  All members must be residents of the Mukilteo School District.

Complete the online application by 5pm Monday March 25 to be considered.
