In honor of the 57th annual National Public Works Week, Mayor Jennifer Gregerson recently proclaimed the week of May 21 – 27, 2017 as Public Works Week in the City of Mukilteo.
“The health, safety, and comfort of all Mukilteo depend on the skill, and efficiency of the women and men in our City Public Works Department,” said Mayor Gregerson. “Our dedicated teams working on behalf of our parks, public facilities, streets, and storm water systems toil quietly in the background to make sure our city’s infrastructure is running smoothly for the public.”
In consideration of how important their work really is, and in honor of their quiet dedication to serving the public good, we ask all residents to join the Mayor and City Staff in recognizing next week as Public Works Week.
