Mukilteo Police Recognize National Pet Day

Nico

National Pet day is April 11, 2020. In recognition of pet needs throughout the entire community, The Mukilteo Police Department will collect newly purchased pet goods during the month of March. All items must be delivered in sealed and originally packaged condition. After April 11th the collected items will be delivered to a local animal shelter in Snohomish County for distribution.

Recent data suggests that on average; nearly 6.5 million companion animals enter animal shelters every year and 3.2 million shelter animals are adopted each year. Most shelters depend on donations to provide care and comfort to animals in the community when they have nowhere else to turn.
