“Collecting information from discarded documents that contain sensitive information is one of the ways that identity thieves recreate a person’s identity. Regularly shredding documents that contain personal information can significantly reduce the chance of becoming a victim of identity theft”, said Police Chief Cheol Kang.

A National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) certified mobile shred truck will be available for 4 hours or until the truck is full, whichever comes first. Residents will be required to sign a Secure Destruction Services Agreement and will be provided a Certificate of Destruction upon request.
