Mukilteo Fire Department Seeks Resident Input

MukilteoFireDepartment_Logo_Smaller sizeThe Mukilteo Fire Department, led by Fire Chief Chris Alexander, is working toward being a more “data driven” organization in their response to emergency situations.  An important part of generating the type of data to plan for future service needs is to deploy a survey that asks residents what they think.

“Over the last year, we have been reviewing and implementing many new best practices performance measures that include all aspects of our response,” stated Chief Alexander.  For example, we are working toward a 7-minute total response time from our 2 stations to the incident as well as shifting personnel for greater efficiency that is consistent with the types of calls we routinely get.”

“We have an excellent Fire Department,” said Mayor Jennifer Gregerson. “Our personnel are highly trained and committed to serving our community.  I applaud Chief Alexander to include public input on the future direction of the Department.”
