UPDATE: This burn ban has been cancelled as of September 20, 2017.
Because unusually hot weather is forecast for the next several weeks, the Mukilteo Fire Department has issued a burn ban of recreational fires until it’s lifted or a substantial amount of rainfall occurs.
This ban includes all open flame fires including fire bowls burning firewood and fire pits, including those at Lighthouse Park. No campfires, agricultural or bonfires are allowed. Backyard BBQs using natural or liquid propane gas and charcoal are ok during this ban.
