The Snohomish County Arts Commission invites Snohomish County residents to enter their best smartphone pictures in the 2016 Snohomish County Smartphone Photography Contest. The deadline for entry is September 5, 2016.
Submissions need to be original, photography-based artwork that was created using a smartphone or tablet of subjects in Snohomish County. The highest-rated entries will be selected for a group exhibit to take place at the Hampton Inn and Suites on September 22nd. 13 images will be selected for inclusion in the 2017 Snohomish County Arts Commission promotional calendar. A purchase prize of $100 will be awarded to each photographer whose image is selected and used.
“We are so lucky to live in an area full of beautiful photos waiting to be taken and art all around us” said Mayor Jennifer Gregerson. “This contest gives everyone with a smartphone the opportunity to express themselves and hopefully showcase some of what makes Mukilteo and Snohomish County so special.”
The Hampton Inn and Suites located at 2931 W. Marine View Drive in downtown Everett.
