Center for Quality Communities scholarship program is now accepting applications

The AWC Center for Quality Communities is pleased to announce the recruitment of young leaders from communities around the State for the 2021 Center for Quality Communities scholarship program. In 2020, the Center for Quality Communities awarded six $1,500 scholarships to outstanding young leaders.

The Center for Quality Communities is a 501(c)(3) organization sponsored by the Association of Washington Cities to promote civic engagement and provide the public with a better understanding of the role cities and towns play in Washington. AWC CEO Peter King writes, “In 2021, we are pleased to once again be able to award six $1,500 scholarships to outstanding high school seniors.”

Several remarkable students have received Mukilteo’s nomination in previous years, and two Mukilteo students were awarded the $1,500 scholarship in the past.

If you are interested in being nominated for a scholarship, please email the application form to execadmin@mukilteowa.gov.

The deadline for us to nominate a local student is March 12, 2021.
