Annual Stormwater Management Program Plan

The City of Mukilteo is seeking citizen input on the 2016 Surface Water Management Program Plan Draft.  This SWMP Plan outlines the City’s stormwater program activities for the period between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016.  These activities are intended to help protect our waterways by meeting the requirements of the City’s National Pollutant Discharge and Elimination System (NPDES) Permit.

Under the NPDES Permit, if the City takes certain actions to minimize stormwater pollution, the City of Mukilteo is allowed to discharge stormwater to waters of the State (i.e. local lakes, streams and Puget Sound). Your input on the SWMP Plan can help build a stronger program; one that more specifically meets the needs of the City of Mukilteo. To provide your comments, please complete the online comment form below. If you prefer to download the comment form and send it to us, click here: Citizen Comment Form.  Please mail this form to Mukilteo City Hall, Attn: Surface Water Technician, 11930 Cyrus Way, Mukilteo, WA  98275.

The Draft of the SWMP is posted on the City’s website annually, and becomes final on March 31st of each year.  Your comments will be considered for the following year if received after March 25th.  Thank you for taking the come to comment.
