2019 Mukilteo Lodging Tax Grant Application Now Available

As of July 1, the 2019 Lodging Tax Grant application is now available online. Previously, all applications and supporting documentation were provided in paper; the City of Mukilteo has prepared an easy online application with document upload capabilities for a more efficient and green process.

The deadline for grant applications is Tuesday, August 14, 2018 by 4:30pm; no late applications will be accepted after that deadline. Applications without all supporting materials, including proof of insurance will not be considered if not received by the due date. Application Guidelines are also provided to assist the applicant complete a successful application.

Grant presentations to the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee are tentatively scheduled for the week of August 20, with City Council review and approval scheduled for September 4, 2018 at Mukilteo City Hall.

In fiscal year 2018, the City Council approved $337,830 in lodging tax funds for the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival, Chamber of Commerce Tourism Center, Snohomish County Visitor Information Center, Rosehill Community Center staffing, “Discover Mukilteo”, and many others.
