2019 Community Support Grants Online Application Now Available

Beginning with the 2019 grant cycle, the Community Support Grant application will be online for greater efficiency and to reduce the amount of paper.  Each year, the City Council budgets $10,000 from the General Fund to support projects that promote community-based organizations within the City. Funding is awarded to groups who promote economic development with special events and other activities that enhance the general well-being of Mukilteo.

“Our Community Support Grants allow many of our non-profits and others to provide innovative and educational events that benefit our community,” said Mayor Jennifer Gregerson.  “From the Mukilteo Community Orchestra to the Mukilteo Little League, these grants have great community appeal for culture and the arts, recreation, youth activities and tourism.”

The 2019 applications are due by 4:30pm, Friday, November 16; the Finance Committee of the City Council will host grant presentations in December and make their recommendations to the full Council at the January 7, 2019 Regular Council Meeting.
