Mukilteo’s annual “Spring Cleanup” will happen this week following the Great Mukilteo Garage Sale on April 30. The City of Mukilteo sponsors this annual community service for regular residential customers within the City limits in cooperation with Waste Management and Rubatino Refuse Removal, Inc.
South Mukilteo residents with Waste Management as their refuse removal company: Spring Cleanup takes place on your regular trash pickup day of Monday, May 2.
North Mukilteo residents with Rubatino as their refuse removal company: Spring Cleanup takes place on your regular trash pickup day of Wednesday, May 4.
ITEM PICKUP INFORMATION: Items for pickup must be bundled, boxed, or bagged and placed at curbside with your regular trash container. There is no limit to the number of bundles; however, each must be light enough for an average person to lift. Branches and limbs must be wrapped or bundled in lengths of no more than three (3) feet. See the attached flyer for information about the pickup of refrigerators and freezers, or call 425.263.8000. For safety reasons, you must remove doors from all appliances before placing at curbside.
Items not accepted for this event: paints, solvents, pesticides, gasoline, cleaning materials, rocks, tires, construction debris or sod (not a complete list).
