Thank you for your interest in serving on the Mukilteo Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC)! We welcome your willingness to serve as role models for other youth in Mukilteo. If you have previously served on MYAC, do not complete this application but reapply here for 2023/24. The purpose of this application is for first-time MYAC applicants, including those who have applied before but were not selected. Deadline to apply is August 11, by 4:30pm.
Be sure to have 2 letters of reference ready to upload when you complete your application.
Please Note:
While it is true that being a part of the Mukilteo Youth Advisory Committee may “look good” on a resume or college application, we strongly discourage anyone who is joining solely for this reason. There is a time and effort commitment involved. We are a group of youth who are committed to making a difference in our community, who want to have fun, to learn about local government, have a voice and use it, and want to represent the youth of Mukilteo.
By signing this form, you are agreeing that the information in the application is accurate and entirely your work. You also agree to the monthly time commitment of about 2 hours/month (more if a project or activity requires it). You are also committing to attending all meetings and securing transportation to and from the meetings at City Hall. MYAC meets the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM at City Hall.
