Calling Young Artists!
The deadline for the 2023 Mukilteo Art Contest has passed.
Looking to have your art displayed and commended? Register for the fourth-annual Mukilteo Art Contest! A virtual gallery will be published with submissions and winners. The Art Contest is organized by the Mukilteo Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC).
A total of 12 winners will be announced, with three from each category:
- Elementary: K-2 grades
- Elementary: 3-5th grades
- Middle School: 6-8th grades
- High School: 9-12th grades
First, second, and third-place winners will have their works displayed at Kamiak High School’s multicultural night and the City’s website, as well as receive official certificates signed by the Mayor.
Entry Criteria:
- This year’s focus is cultural identity. Artwork on this theme is encouraged but not required.
- Artists must be a K-12 student of the Greater Seattle Area.
- Maximum of 1 submission per artist for a maximum number of 150 applications. Once 150 applications are received, the registration will be closed.
- The first entry application for all artists will be the only one accepted.
- Any art submissions from previous Art Contests will disqualify the artist and artwork. We do keep track.
- Submit through application form below
- MYAC reserves the right to disqualify work at our discretion (e.g., if deemed to feature excessive violent/ sexual/ other explicit material inappropriate for younger entrants).

Our Judges
All submissions will be judged by Mukilteo Youth Advisory Committee. Here are the 2023 results:
