$50The Mukilteo Schools Foundation is happy to announce Mindy Halleck as the featured speaker at their 25th Annual Breakfast on November 10, 2017. Mindy is the author of Return to Sender (2014). Return to Sender follows the story of Father Theo Riley, a Korean War veteran, and his life in Manzanita, Oregon after serving in the Army.
Mindy Halleck is an award-winning fiction writer, novelist, and a writing instructor. She is an active member of the Pacific Northwest writing community and additionally is a happily married, globe-trotting beachcomber, and three-time cancer survivor who credits the act of writing as part of her healing journey.
