Forum on Identity Theft/Scam Prevention

The City of Mukilteo will host an “Identity Theft and Scam Prevention Forum” on Friday, November 18, 2016, from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.  The event will be held at Harbour Pointe Senior Living, located at 10200 Harbour Place, Mukilteo, Washington 98275.  Information Technology Professional Mary Thomas will be the guest speaker to discuss cyber safety with the community.   Identity theft and phone scams have increased as society conducts more personal business on computers and smartphone devices.  Thomas will provide information that will help community members identify warning signs and resist attempts from scammers who try to convince potential victims to release personal and financial information.  She will also be available to answer questions from the public.  To read the full press release, click HERE.
