City crews have posted No Parking signs along 47th Ave W (between Chennault Beach Rd & 109th St SW) and 109th St SW (between 47th Ave W & 47th Pl W) in preparation for roadway striping next week.
Tentative Striping Date: Wednesday, June 11
Please note: This date is weather dependent, so the no-parking window allows flexibility for optimal conditions.
Work Begins: After 7:00 AM
We will ensure the area is clear of vehicles to avoid any need for towing.
Scope of Work Includes:
- Grinding and restriping the centerline
- Adding new bike lane striping
- striping parking areas
This is part of the final phase following recent improvements in stormwater conveyance, water quality, paving, ADA, pedestrian crossing, sidewalk, bicycle, and striping.
