The Mukilteo City Council approved a resolution on May 5th asking residents to renew the levy for Emergency Medical Service (EMS) to the previously voter-approved amount of $0.50 per $1,000 during the November 4, 2025 general election.
The City is seeking applicants to write the pro and con statements for the voters' pamphlet. The Pro Committee will write a statement in support of the ballot measure and a rebuttal to the Con Committee’s statement. Conversely, the Con Committee will write a statement against the measure and a rebuttal to the Pro Committee’s statement. Each committee can consist of up to 3 members. In order to apply, you must be a resident of Mukilteo and a registered voter in Snohomish County.
Key Dates:
- May 21 @ 5 PM - Pro/con applications due to the City
- June 2 @ 6 PM - City Council to approve pro/con committee members
- August 14 @ 5 PM - Pro/con statements due
- August 19 @ 5 PM - Pro/con rebuttals due
