On October 14th, Mayor Joe Marine presented the 2025-2026 Preliminary Budget—the City’s first-ever biennial budget and digital budget book.
The public is invited to share feedback on the budget at the upcoming City Council meetings on Monday, November 4th, or Monday, November 18th, starting at 6 PM at Mukilteo City Hall. Alternatively, emails can be sent to the Mayor and City Council at elected@mukilteowa.gov. The City Council will adopt the final budget by the end of the year.
This new digital budget format provides users with enhanced tools to explore the City’s finances. Budget information is available both graphically and in a spreadsheet format. Each pie chart and chart offers multiple viewing options, and the “Spreadsheet Breakdown >” option provides detailed figures. As you hover over the graphs and charts, dollar amounts will be displayed, giving a more interactive experience.
