We define a “Special Event” as any temporary/ongoing activity that occurs on public (or possibly private) property that affects the ordinary use of parks, public streets, right-of-ways, sidewalks, traffic, etc. and/or generates large public participation. Some examples include parades, service projects, road races, photo shoots or large group gatherings in the park or other public place.
If you are unsure if your event qualifies as a Special Event, please contact the recreation department at recreation@mukilteowa.gov or 425.263.8180.
