City staff respond to concerns about possible code violations occurring on private property when complaints are received.

Our goal is to inform and educate residents about applicable rules and provide consistent, fair, and responsive enforcement that promotes voluntary compliance. If a resolution cannot be reached, the City may begin formal enforcement proceedings.
Staff responds to complaints regarding alleged violations of building codes and land use regulations as well as complaints about graffiti and junk/nuisance vehicles. Your complaint will be routed to the appropriate department.
We do not enforce disputes between neighbors, including property line disputes, use of private easements, covenants or homeowner’s association rules, or tenant-landlord disputes.
