Adopt-A-Street Program

On May 21, 2018, the Mukilteo City Council approved Resolution Number 2018-09 (PDF) establishing an Adopt-A-Street (AAS) Program in response to many residents' desire to keep the streets litter-free and beautiful. Together, neighbors, local businesses, church or scout groups, homeowner associations, service organizations, and student groups can help build city pride one street at a time. This program will help protect our environment and create a cleaner Mukilteo to live, work, play and shop. AAS volunteers will be known as "Adopt-A-Street Ambassadors."

Note: This Program is only for city streets within the city limits. If you are interested in adopting any part of the Mukilteo Speedway/SR525, please contact the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) about volunteering.

Become an Adopt-A-Street Ambassador!

It's easy to participate in the Adopt-A-Street Program! Simply complete the online application, choose the street or group of streets your organization will commit to cleaning at least four times per year over a two-year period, and agree to attend a Safety Orientation prior to your first cleanup event.
