At the August 1, 2016, Mayor Jennifer Gregerson and the Mukilteo City Council shared their thoughts with the community about last weekend’s shooting of four former (4) Kamiak High School students at a home in the Chennault Beach area.
” We lost three beautiful lives, Jordan Ebner, Jake Long and Anna Bui.” said Mayor Gregerson. “Will Kramer was seriously injured, and dozens of young people went through something that no person should ever experience. In the midst of that pain, our community is changing in other ways as well, with an outpouring of support to honor those we lost.”
City Council President stated, “I do want to thank all of the responders to this event, police, fire, state patrol, and the others who participated in the brave act of resolving this incident. I’m proud to be a Mukiltean.” Councilmembers Emery, Lord and Cook also expressed their appreciation for the community coming together, of all faiths, to grieve and support the families.
